Every time that Aspen and Ace come to me for pictures I am in love with every shot of them. And you can see why, they are adorable! And of course it helps that they are such amazing friends of ours, and they love photos too. Taking photos as a Kingman children photographer is such a fun and rewarding thing to do. And to see the photos hanging in a friend's home is a blessing that I never knew I would experience like this.
The flowers that bloomed in the desert this spring were so amazing, stretching on and on. With and unusually wet winter I was on the lookout for a colorful spring early. I knew of this pretty little field from a scouting spree from two years ago. I spend a lot of time looking for fun spots to take photos, and this had been an amazing find. Two years ago Tessa and I found this spot on a warm spring morning. But sadly, that year, I had never made it back there at that magical golden hour. And then last year the spring was so dry and ugly, there were no flowers.....You see, here in the desert, we don't always get these beautiful blooms.
But this year, everything lined up. The rain, the search, the find, and the sessions. The weather was perfect, the kids were amazing and the photos are some of my favorites ever! Every time I go to the Martinez family house I think "I sure do wish those were my kids in those pretty flower photos." Everything just fell into place like it was meant to be.
