Heart Love ~ February One Blog Loop

January 30, 2018

Hello friends!  We're back and ready to get into the new groove of life with an infant.  For those of you who don't know, we had our precious little girl, Hazel Grace, on 1/19/18.  She is absolutely heaven sent, and so very loved.  Please come on over and follow her journey and life on our Instagram account at KellyAnn3MyLife.  She is just as sweet as can be, and such a good baby.  She is getting right into the swing of this busy family, and never squeaks even a little complaint.  Now as we create our new routine, I am slowly getting ready to get back to some of my photos.  I have been choosing one or two photos each day to edit and share.  And up until now, that has been all I can tolerate tackling.  The past couple of days I am slowly regaining some of my strength and energy.  And of course, documenting these fleeting moments of newborn perfection, is just so important to me.  I know how incredibly fast these days fly by.

This month I am jumping back into the amazing blog loop that I love participating in.  And being February, it is CHD (Congenital Heart Defect) awareness month.  One of our friends, and fellow bloggers holds this cause so near and dear to her own heart, and that of her family.  To support and love on our sweet friend Danielle from Little Farm Photography, we are featuring our paper heart projects.  This project can be followed on Instagram at #paperheartproject or you can follow along by joining the Facebook group Paper Heart Project-CHD AWARENESS.  We can hardly wait for you to travel our loop and check out all of the love we have for Danielle and her little guy, and his brave and amazing journey.

For a little background information, CHD can occur in nearly 1 in 110 babies.  In some cases the defect is minor, and just requires monitoring.  Other cases can be life threatening, and require open heart surgery.  For those of you following our little Hazel Grace, she was diagnosed with one of the minor heart defects at birth, related to her Down Syndrome diagnosis.  We will be following up with a pediatric cardiologist this month.  And we will pray that she is cleared from further treatment at that time.

Please take a look at all of the amazing artists in our blog loop this month.  You can continue the loop HERE to check out all of our heart project photos.  Next up in this adventure is my friend Sarah Lewis from Behind the Stones Photography.  Take a look, and leave a little love as you travel the loop.
